Richard H. "Dick" Pasquinelli, age 84, of Maumee, passed away January 10th, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 15th, 1931 in Canton, Ohio to Julius and Mary (Scarpellini) Pasquinelli. Dick was employed with Prestolite for more than 23 years retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee and the Lions Club, Maumee. Dick also enjoyed volunteering with Junior Achievement in Toledo. He was a veteran serving his country honorably in the US Marine Corps.
Dick is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, daughters, Kathy Putman, Kelly (Randy) Navarro, Patti (Dave) Hasbrouck, Missy (Clint) Hinze, son, Tony (Heidi) Pasquinelli, brother, Eugene, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Alba Garris, brothers; Elmo, Neil, and Edward, and son-in-law, Jamie Putman.
The family will receive guests Thursday, January 14th, 2016 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) with a Scripture Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, January 15th at 10:00 a.m at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 104 W. Broadway Maumee, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the National Kidney Foundation in Richard's memory.
