Richard Chappelear

Richard L. Chappelear, age 54 of Toledo passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 7, 2010. He was born December 7, 1955 to Donald Chappelear and Bonnie (Haley) Haefner. Richard was a graduate of Northview Highschool and following graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army for two years where he was stationed in Germany as a tank mechanic. He worked at National Transmission for over 30 years as a transmission rebuilder.

Preceding him in death are his father, Donald Chappelear and grandparents. Left to cherish Richard's memory are his mother, Bonnie Haefner; son, R.J. (Melissa) Chappelear; two grandsons and two granddaughters; brother, James (Norma) Chappelear; step-brother, Donald Haefner; step-sister, Kathy (Gary) Liber; former-wife, Tammy Chappelear and many dear relatives and friends.

At Richard's request all funeral services will be private at this time.
