Richard Bullerwell

Richard E. Bullerwell, Sr., age 66, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, February 1, 2008 at the St. Francis Health Care Center, Green Springs, OH. He was born on May 4, 1941 to James H. and Rose A. (Amenta) Bullerwell in Somerville, Massachusetts. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce. He ran several small businesses and was a cab driver, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Richard was also an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and he loved the ponies. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Bullerwell, January 11, 2008, brother, Jim Bullerwell and his granddaughter, Lindsey Bullerwell. Richard is survived by his children: Richard E. (Kelly) Bullerwell, Jr., Scott (Angi) Bullerwell, Jennifer Ann Bullerwell and Robin Shepard; grandchildren: Michael, Brandi, Daniel, Luke, Tiffanni, Tyler, Nicole, Janasha, Niasha, Justin, Elizabeth, Kevin and Lauren; sister: Kay (Jerry) Agresti; brother: George (Lorraine) Bullerwell; step-daughter: Linda Scherz; and step-son: Tony Massey.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis Lauman. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
