Richard Blanchong

Richard R. "Dick" Blanchong, age 83, of Toledo, passed away July 20, 2016 at his home. He was born July 20, 1933 in Toledo to Adam and Betty (Miller) Blanchong. Dick was employed with RENNCO as a parts delivery service man. He was also employed with Interstate Trucking for many years. Dick was an avid bowler with a couple 300 games. He also enjoyed KENO and throwing darts. Dick always had a classic car and enjoyed going to the car shows. He was also a Detroit Tiger fan.

Dick is survived by his daughters, Debbie (Bob) Blanchong and Jacky (Neil) Molinaro; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandsons; sister, Jacky (Max) Dodd. In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; daughter, Amy and sister, Joan.

The family will receive guests, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in Dick's memory.
