Richard Ace Sutherland, age 84, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2014.
Dick was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in Hawaii during the Korean War. He retired after 36 years from Dico Incorporated. Dick was an avid baseball fan. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Rose, especially their annual trips to the U.P. and touring lighthouses. Dick liked collecting coins and stamps and bird-watching.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 15 years, Rose; children, Michael (Yvonne) Elliott and Kelly Houseman; special niece, Missy (Rob) Lloyd; great-niece and nephew, Kenna and Jake; grandchildren, Michael, Greg Jr., Amanda, Joey, William, Jonathan, Brooke and Connor and many great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 1-2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
