Richard A. Ross

Richard A. Ross, age 57, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2014. He was born on December 23, 1957 to Anneliese and Walter Ross in Toledo, Ohio.

Rick graduated from Maumee High School in 1975. Rick was an active member and Greeter at Westgate Chapel. His faith, along with his family, was the major driving factor in his life. Rick spent every free moment of his time at church, in prayer or with his loving family. He was devoted to activities with his family, especially many regattas with the Anthony Wayne Crew Team. Rick used his servant leadership to nurture human relationships within his life and companies.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Michelle; children, Nicole and Michael; mother, Anneliese; brother, Larry; brother-in-law, Rick (Zelka) Hudson; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Dan) Eyster; nieces and nephews, Amanda and Lauren Ross, Kate and Ryan Hudson, Jeremy, Justin and Jessica Eyster; his church families at Westgate Chapel and Church 3 Twenty One; half-siblings, Lisa and David. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Walter and in-laws, Janis and Fred Barba.

The Family will receive guests on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Westgate Chapel, 2500 Wilford Drive, Toledo. Family and Friends may visit from 10-11:00 a.m. at church prior to the service. Burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
