Rhonda J. Nuhfer

Rhonda J. "Rhondoo" Nuhfer, age 65, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday October 26, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital with loving family by her side. She was born on January 7, 1957 to Ora Lee and Anna Mae (Baisden) Pollard in Portsmouth, Ohio. Rhonda had a huge heart and could make anyone laugh. She became "mom" to all of her children's friends throughout the years; making many memories along the way. She was always the life of the party and had a smile you wouldn't forget. Rhonda enjoyed cooking, camping and taking trips to Florida. She loved having family get-togethers, cookouts, Holiday gatherings, especially Christmastime and the snow. She loved fiercely and adored her grandchildren more than anything. Rhonda's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Ora Lee Pollard, Sonia Edwards, and Roger Pollard. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, Lee Nuhfer; loving children, Pooh (Angela) Nuhfer and Tabetha "Sis" Nuhfer; grandchildren, Austin Nuhfer, Cahmar Nuhfer and Cahmya Marshall; sisters, Patricia "Boobie" Tatkowski and Kimberly "Kimmie" Russ; longtime best friend "sister", Lisa Tammerine; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo OH 43617 (419-392-9500). Memorial Services will begin Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
