Reynold Rahm

Reynold John Rahm, age 88, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Great Great Grandfather passed into eternal life on Thursday, September 13, 2012 in Waterford Commons Care Center. He was born May 23, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio to Arthur and Edith Rahm. Reynold married Donna (Hoye) Rahm on October 29, 1943. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He then went onto pursue a career as a Master Tool and Die Maker. At the age of 74, Reynold was employed by Putt-Putt, repairing go-carts.

Reynold is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Gerald (Phebe) Rahm, Georganna (Richard) Barton-Plummer, William (Pamela) Rahm and David (Wendy) Rahm; 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Reynold was preceded in death by his son, Arthur Rahm; two grandchildren and one great grandchild and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio.

The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
