Rexford J. Wraight of Holland, OH passed away peacefully on October 6, 2012 at the age of 71. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on Oct. 1, 1941 to Rex & Wayva Wraight. Rex worked as a tool & die maker for most of his life at Metal Forming & Coining, retiring in 1999.
Rex had many hobbies over the years, including sailing, model trains and helicopters, salt water fish tanks and driving his grandchildren around.
Rex is survived by and will be missed by his daughter, Denise (Rob) Klocinski and his son, Jamie (Sarah); grandchildren Lauren (Grandpa called her "Hollywood") & Drew Klocinski and Henry Wraight; brother Gary (Sue) and sister Claudia (Mike) Anger; and his best friend of many years, Jill Blair. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rex Wraight & Wayva King; sister Peggy Farmer and half brother, Darryl Stipes.
Rex's family would like to give a special thank you to Jill Blair and Andrea (Andi) at Hospice. Andi took special care of Rex at the end of his life and the family is extremely grateful.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). A Memorial Service will begin at 5:30 p.m.
