Merrill David Braymer, age 81, of Temperance, passed away January 25, 2020 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. Merrill was born May 26, 1938 in Kalamazoo, MI to George and Nellie (Hildebrand) Braymer. He pastored churches in Cleveland, Sandusky and Toledo, retiring from Collingwood United Methodist Church in 2001.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Yvonne J. Braymer; daughters, Bonnie (Greg) Stepanian, Yvette (Dr. Louis) Saravolatz, Melinda Rummel; grandchildren, Samuel, Dr. Louis II (Blair), Stephanie, Jordan, Ashleigh, Izabella and Nickolas; sisters, Maxine Corbus and Donna (Russ) Dusseljee.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and George Jr. "Bud".
In accordance with his wishes, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) or Compassionate Ministries. in Merrill's memory.
