Renee Cosby

Renee Cosby, age 47, of Maumee, OH passed away September 13, 2021 at her home. She was born December 18, 1973 in Detroit, MI At Children's Hospital to Joseph and Maryln (McAfee) Gray. Renee now resides in Heaven.

With a more than challenging childhood, Renee managed to get through high-school. Later she received her Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Development after obtaining her Associate's Degree in Pre-Law.

Anyone who knew her would tell you Renee's greatest accomplishment was her six children. Through the 90's Renee had all six children. At some point she met Fred Douglas Cosby, II. Renee would appreciate Doug's help raising their children. After all the kids were nearly grown, Renee and Doug would happily divorce.

Though her health was never perfect, Renee still managed to not just raise those kids but also create great moments when things seemed impossible. That gave her children great memories they will cherish. Renee would always say her grandchildren were the highlight of her life.

She loved to ride her bike when she could. Renee read her bible everyday. She was a firm believer in Christ.

She was a very proud and strong woman. Renee would want her loved one's to remember that. Renee would want all of her loved ones to always be strong and remember her with thoughts of joy.

Renee is survived by her children, Joseph, Sean, Anna, Isabella, Joshua and Isaiah; grandchildren, Jalin, Nehemiah, Amena, Zander, Navina, Navaha, Emma, Adailyn, Cecilia, Neko, Zoe, Zeek and Amaris.
