Regina Kujawa

Regina Kujawa, age 94 passed away Saturday, July 3rd, 2010 at Ridgewood Manor in Maumee. On March 8th, 1916 she was born to Mark and Minnie (Dworecka) Smiszek in Toledo, Ohio. She married William H. Andryzcik and he preceded her in death. Regina later married Henry Kujawa and he preceded her in death in 1993. Regina's family will remember her as an enduring woman who always kept her family together during all the difficult hardships.

Survivors include son, Paul (Betty) Andryzcik; daughter, Susan Kujawa; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Joyce Andryzcik, sisters, Evelyn and Irene Kujawa and brother, Harry Smiszek.

Also preceding her in death is her son, Harry Andryzcik; daughter, Dorothy Cravens; grandson, Michael Cravens; siblings, Stella Welch, Casimer Smiszek and Jenny Ogrodowski.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Final prayers will be recited in the funeral home Thursday at 9:15 a.m. Following final prayers there will be a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament, 4227 Bellevue Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43613. Presider will be Father Martin Donnelly. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church or Southern Care Hospice of Toledo.
