Regan K Cliff

May 7, 1963 — August 6, 2018

Regan Kimberly (Holland) Cliff, 55, passed away early Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg after an eight-month battle with glioblastoma.

She was born May 7, 1963, to James and Betty (Seal) Holland in Toledo and grew up in Maumee before graduating from Maumee High School in 1981 and going on to study dental hygiene at Owens Community College. For 25 years, she brightened smiles at McGowan Dentistry in Toledo as a dental hygienist.

Regan married Craig Cliff in 1989 and together, they raised three sons: Ryan, 26, Zack, 23, and Evan, 20. Regan was an instrumental volunteer with the Maumee Athletic Boosters, spearheading the expansion of the Spirit Den at Kazmaier Stadium. She was devoted to her family and loved attending her sons' basketball, soccer, baseball and football games—proving to be just as enthusiastic and vocal a spectator for the Maumee Panthers as she was for The Ohio State University Buckeyes, her favorite team. Diagnosed in 2009 with arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC), she also became an ardent supporter of organizations dedicated to treating the disease.

Following her diagnosis with cancer in November 2017, Regan found so much strength in the support of her family and friends and was always uplifted by their messages of love. To those who knew her, her collection of heart-adorned items made perfect sense, as it was her big heart that touched so many lives. In all she did, Regan made the world a better place with her loving nature and unyielding spirit.

Regan is survived by her husband, sons and father; brothers Jaime (Tanya) Holland, Chris (Debbie) Taylor and Richard (Brenda) Taylor; sister Karen (Mike) Green; nephews Adam, Aaron, Danny, Jacob, Jeremiah and Jimmy; and nieces Amy and Shannon. She was preceded in death by her mother, sister Kathy Loch and nephew David Loch.
