Rebecca A. Walls, age 74, of Toledo, passed away January 17, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. Rebecca was born January 2, 1947 in Toledo to George and Ardath (Merritt) Carter.
Becky attended Sylvania High School. On May 15, 1971 she married the love of her life, James Walls. In her free time Becky loved to bake, going thrift shopping and reading. She enjoyed gardening and crafts but most of all she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and family. Becky will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Becky was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, James Walls; and brother, Clark Carter. She is survived by her son, Trace (Kimberly) Walls; daughter, Susan Jacobs; grandchildren, Connor, Alexis and Logan; and sister, Judy Company.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 10 - 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel, (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville.
