Rebecca Krohn

Rebecca Ann Krohn, age 66, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 10, 1946 in Rockland, Maine to Richard and Evelyn Kwapiszewski. Becky was employed as a nurse's aide for Extended Care on Ashland Ave, and also did home health care for many people. She enjoyed playing bingo, but most importantly loved spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dirinda (Bill) Beamer, Duane Krohn, Jr., Louis (Teresa) Krohn, Rosina (Bob) Simon and Dennis (Yong) Krohn; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren on the way; significant other, Tim Taylor for 25 years; sisters, Cathleen Kwapiszewski, Martha Ferendzo and Josephine Hurt. In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Kwapiszewski.

The family will receive guests Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
