Rebecca Borthwick

Rebecca S. "Becky" Borthwick, age 54, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 28, 2007 in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on May 1, 1953 to Albert and Shirley (Walker) Bryant in Toledo. Becky loved cooking and was always lending a hand to someone. She was an avid volunteer in the community and like a mother to all. Her children were the joy of her life. Becky will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father. Becky is survived by her son: Franklin (Cindy Ward) Borthwick II; daughter: Abby (JZ Zaveri) Borthwick; mother: Shirley Bryant; longtime loving significant other: Doug Braun; brother: Gary (Alice) Bryant; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Olander Park, 6930 W. Sylvania Ave., Sylvania, on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. The Newcomer Funeral Home assisted the family with professional services.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider Becky's children.
