Raymond Wright

Raymond "Gene" Wright, age 73, of Waldron, Michigan, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 17, 1935 in Gallipolis, Ohio. Gene was employed with Keyser Aluminum in Toledo for 30 years before retiring. He was also an avid golfer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence and sisters, Elle and Rosie. Gene is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Geraldine Wright; children, Charles and Steve Wright, Leonard Hoyt and Debbie (Jeffrey) Clayton; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edna Wright and Katherine Moreno; and some nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 3 to 7:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will take place Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in Salem Cemetery, Gallipolis, Ohio.
