Raymond Tarr

Raymond L. Tarr, age 80, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo to James and Hazel Tarr. He served his country in the Army. Ray worked at Dana Corporation for over 30 years. He was an avid sports fan especially the Detroit teams and a huge Buckeye fan. He loved spending time with his family and loved playing with his dog "Jill".

Ray is survived by his loving wife/partner of 42 years, Pauline (Lewis) Tarr, children of both families include; Terrie Tarr, Raylene (Dave) Shuster, Cathy Tarr Coleman, Mike (Renea) Tarr, Linda (Barry) Gold, Terry Roehrig, Phyllis (Robert) Parisien, Art Roehrig, Roger Roehrig (deceased) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ray comes from a large family and his surviving siblings are sister Marlene Hodak, brother Tom (Joanne) Tarr, and sister-in-law Mary Tarr.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, August 6, from 10:30-11 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association.
