Raymond "Ray" F Tucholski, age 89, of Toledo, Ohio passed away June 5, 2014 at Manor at Perrysburg. He was born February 22, 1925 in Toledo to John and Lottie (Fraczewska) Tucholski. Ray was a WWII Air Force veteran and member of the Catholic War Veterans. He was the owner of BeRay's Shoe Salon in Toledo. Ray was an avid golfer and former member/assistant director of the Men's Choir at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church and their Holy Name Society. A loving father and grandfather and great grandfather, Ray will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ray is survived by his sons, John L. (Gail) Tucholski and Kevin L. (Lana) Tucholski; grandchildren, Cory J. (Jody) Tucholski, Andrew T. (Heather) Tucholski, Nicholas A. (Megan) Tucholski, Audrey K. Tucholski; great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Gabriel, Kayti and Reece. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; brothers, Francis "Frank," Aloysius "Ollie," Bernard "Bernie," Anthony "Tony," and sister, Helen.
The family will receive guests Monday, June 9, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900), where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
