Ray F. Garverick
Ray F. Garverick, age 64, of Sylvania, passed away Monday, November 20, 2006 in Flower Hospital. He was born July 17, 1942 to Dale and Alice (Slick) Garverick in Toledo. Ray was employed with the Jeep Corporation for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and canine companion "Grace".
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth and sister-in-law, Susan Benarth. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Lee (Dubs) Garverick; daughters, Jeannette (Tom) Muenzer and Erin (Dennis) Amborski of Stryker, OH; grandchildren, Amanda Snapp; Sammy and Bubby; nephew, Joe Benarth; brother, Jack Garverick and best buddy, Marvin Alexander.
The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Clark Alcock. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Toledo Rescue Mission.
