Ra'Shaad Anthony Quinn

Ra’Shaad Anthony Quinn, 20, passed away August 6th, 2024, at Mercy St Vincent Hospital, Toledo, OH. Ra’Shaad was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend. He was born August 2nd, 2004 at Mercy St Vincent’s, Toledo, OH. He was the last of three children born to Richard and Latina Quinn.

Ra’Shaad was baptized and became a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church at the age of nine. 

Ra’Shaad attended Start High School. He began doing landscaping work in 2020 for Family Affair Lawn Care. His Godmother, Patricia Quinn, is the C.E.O of the company. He also worked in the restaurant industry at Mancy’s Steakhouse & McDonald’s.

Ra’Shaad enjoyed dancing around, playing football and playing video games. He was a silly person and enjoyed making people laugh. His smile was contagious and would light up a room.

 Ra’Shaad will be remembered for his warm smile, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his unwavering love for his family and friends.

 Ra’Shaad was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents, Lemuel Sr & Sarah Gladys Quinn, Solomon & Lenny Young; Grandmother Vessie Lee Quinn & Grandfather Jimmy Lee Patton. Those left to cherish his loving memories are his parents Latina Quinn and Richard Quinn; Daughter, Jahmyla Wright; Grandmother, Jestine Patton; Uncles, Everett Smith, Jimmy Patton Jr. and Eric (Shelly) Patton; Aunts, Marcia Quinn, Andrea (Jerome) Armstrong and Felicha Patton; Godmother, Patricia Quinn; Seven Siblings, Cayetona Quinn, Richard McMillan, Terryka Quinn, Richard Quinn Jr., Keiyonna Quinn, Keimarkus Woodard and Jasiah Quinn; 21 nieces and nephews; Special friend Arie’Aja Clark and her son Aon’trece Richardson; and a host of loved ones.

 Family and friends will be received the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 833 Nesslewood Ave., Toledo, OH on Monday August 19, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM immediately following visitation. Interment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo.
