Randy N. Warner Jr., age 41, of Toledo, passed away November 12, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Randy was born December 1, 1972 in Toledo to Randy and Diane (Cannon) Warner. He was employed with the Detroit Airport for more than 10 years before becoming ill. Randy was a blessing to everyone he touched, his personality was bright and polite. Due to his illness Randy enjoyed spending time on the computer, smoking, and drinking Mountain Dew. Randy was a proud member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church.
Randy was also preceded in death by his grandparents Carl W. and Lillie Cannon, grandfather Raymond Hassen, step-father James J. Hassen and his faithful canine companion Lady. He is survived by his mother Diane Hassen (Ron Schmitz), father Randy N. Warner Sr., sister Heather (Bill) Straka, grandmother Celine Hassen, step-sister Tamara Grimes, aunt Glenda and uncle Dennis Martin, aunt Sharon and uncle Jim Warner, nephew Austin and niece Breanna Straka, cousins Tami (Mike) Owens, Jodi Hammons and dog Ike, Tyler Schultz, Kara and Crystal, and in loving memory of Cameron Schultz as they walk together in Heaven.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Peggy Gruetter and Randy Olmstead from Heatherdowns Care Center, Deacon Dave Karpanty and St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church, along with 47 year friend of mother and child Sharon Cutcher.
