Randy "Beer Man" McNeely, 68, of Reading, MI, passed away May 30, 2021 surrounded by his family at his home. Randy was born July 30, 1952 in Toledo to Walter and Martha (Jimison) McNeely.
He worked as a plumbing salesman for Maumee Supply. After he retired, he worked a variety of part-time jobs that brought many people into his life. Randy was best known for his proud "Beer Man" title selling beer at the Toledo Sports Arena and then the Huntington Center. He leaves behind many loyal customers and friends.
He was an avid woodcrafter and fisherman. Randy and his wife, Sandy, fulfilled a lifelong dream of living on the lake when they moved to Reading, MI.
Left to cherish his memory is his high school sweetheart, wife, Sandy; son, Chad (Brieanna); daughter, Carrie Bork; step-son, Jason Hintz; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Vicki (Jeff) Carstens and Amy (Rick) Kaiser; and several nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 12 - 4 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Chapel, (419-381-1900). A Celebration of Life honoring Randy will begin Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
