Ralph "Bud" S. Spring, age 79, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born October 29, 1925 in Toledo. Bud was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII. He was a coxswain who had four landings in the Pacific. Bud was a demolition expert and iron worker in the local Toledo area for many years.
He is survived by his sister: Miriam Stahl, of New Hampshire; niece: Jamie (Tip) Macdonald; nephews: Mark (Machiko) and Daniel (Sharon) Stahl; 7 great nieces and nephews; sons: Tom (Gayle) and Mike Spring; grandchildren: Shawn, Maren, and Jason Spring, all of whom are from Covington, IN; and special friends Nancy Spring and Bill Brenneman, both of Toledo. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, William and Odessa (Baumgartner) Spring.
There will be no visitation or services for Bud, per the family's request. Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
The family requests that those wishing to express monetary donations are asked to consider a charity of the donor's choice.
