Ralph E Harris
1949 – 2024

Ralph E. Harris Sr., age 74, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at
home. He was born on March 9, 1949, to Robert and Viola (Cargile) Harris in
Toledo, Ohio. Ralph graduated from Macomber High School as an Electrical
Apprentice.

From High School he would go on to work at the Toledo Jeep Plant
that was located at the former Willys Parkway. Upon retiring he went on to work at
the Toledo Zoo. Ralph enjoyed track and field as well as racing both motorcycle
and automotive. Ralph also enjoyed teaching electrical and inventing little gadgets.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert (Bobby)
Harris Jr. and wife Barbara (Barb) Harris.

Left to cherish his memory are brothers, Herman Harris Sr. and Jerry Harris; sons,
Ralph Harris Jr., Carl Harris and William Harris; son-in-law Daniel Schlieman;
grandchildren, Trey, Tyler, Donovan, Carter, Troy and Kayleigh; Sister-in-Laws,
Gwen and Pam; nephews, Herman Harris Jr., Chris Harris, Standford Harris, Jerel;
nieces. Rita, Anita, Yorlanda and Londalya along with other nephews, nieces and
dear friends.

Friends and family will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Northwest Chapel)
4150 West Laskey Rd. Toledo on Friday February 23, 2024 from
12:00 PM-2:00 PM. Services will begin immediately after visitation at 2:00 PM.
