PRISCILLA M. AKINS
Priscilla M. Akins, age 68 of Toledo, passed away Monday, July 19th, 2010 at Kingston Care Facility in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born May 11th, 1942 to Maurice and Ruby (Price) Grimes in Highpoint, North Carolina. Priscilla loved bowling over the years and she was a former member of the Maumee Senior Bowling League. She also enjoyed bowling on the Wii with her family, playing bingo and most importantly, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Debbie (Brian) Foraker, Tom E. Akins, Frank Akins Jr. and John (Betty) Akins; grandchildren, Heather, Amanda, Katie and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Mya, Ayden and Abagayle and brother, Maurice Grimes.
The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
