Polly Ann Mason

Polly Ann Mason, age 49, of Holland passed away peacefully, Monday, September 24, 2007 in her home. She was born on May 2, 1958 to Norman and Judy (Vargo) Mason in Toledo. Polly was a member of the Arbors Association and the Humane Society. She worked as a window clerk with the U.S. Post Office for 15 years. Polly was an avid gardener and often enjoyed bird watching and feeding the squirrels. She will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Casey James Mason and her significant other, "Woody" Widman. Polly is survived by her loving family, aunts: Rose Mary Babos and Irene Myers; uncle: William Vargo; many special loving cousins; and her dogs: Fred and Carmie.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the wonderful neighbors and friends who have helped take care of Polly and her dogs these past few months.

A Memorial Mass to Celebrate Polly's life will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 5522 Dorr St., Toledo, OH 43615. The Newcomer Funeral Home, (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider the Toledo Humane Society.
