Phyllis Jean Marksch

Phyllis "Jean" Marksch, age 78, of Holland, OH passed away September 27, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 12, 1943 in Toledo to Claude and Lenora (Sandorette) Friend. Phyllis owned and operated Marksch Family Group Home for many years.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Marksch; son, Daniel Marksch; grandson, Chad Ott. She is survived by her children, Patty (William House) Marksch-House, Tina (Scott) Snyder, Doug (Michelle) Marksch and Timothy (Patty Donaldson) Marksch; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly; sisters, Joyce Twigg and Catherine Blossom; and brother, Richard Claude (Terry) Friend.
The family will receive guests, Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Memorial Services will begin Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Phyllis' memory.
