Phyllis M. Hinkelman

Phyllis Mae Hinkelman, age 91, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away October 5, 2016 at Waterford at Levis Commons. She was born March 12, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Mae (Bulask) Shepler. Phyllis was employed with J.C. Penney for over 20 years, retiring in 1991. She was a parishioner of St. Clement Catholic Church. Phyllis was active as a volunteer with the Red Cross Blood Bank and Easter Seals.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 73 years, Ralph Hinkelman; sons, David (Judith) of Tucson, AZ, Dale of Bowling Green, OH and Paul (Louise Anne) Hinkelman of Troy, OH; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and niece Carole (George) Booth of Perrysburg, OH. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister, June Badger.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg, Ohio at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Phyllis' memory.
