Phyllis J. Mohler

Phyllis Jane Mohler, age 89, of Toledo, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on January 30, 2015. Phyllis was born October 13, 1925 in Toledo to Harold and Mildred (Buchert) Menter. She was employed with the Washington Local Schools before retiring in 1984. Phyllis was a longtime member of Reformation Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed swim classes, sewing, cooking for her family and socializing with her friends for happy hour at Trillium Place. Phyllis was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph E. Mohler and her sister, Virginia Beck. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Kenneth) Robertson, son, Joseph "Buddy" (Debbie) Mohler III, grandchildren Ross Robertson, Joe (Jacquie) Mohler, Katie Robertson, Kristie (Tyler) Russ and great grandchildren, Joey and Jack Russ.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 1:00 pm. at the funeral home followed by burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
