Phyllis J. Lineberger, age 87, of Lambertville, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on March 27, 1928 in North Baltimore, Ohio to Ralph W. and Floris L. (Poulson) Friesner. She was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School, Class of 1946 and lived most of her life in Toledo. Phyllis was a secretary at National Labs where she met her future boss, James Findlay. She went on to work for him for 45 years as his secretary at Impact Products. Her life revolved around family and her work; she was dedicated to both. Phyllis' family will remember her as the kindest woman they've ever known; she always put their needs before her own.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sharon (Larry) Serres, Julie (Bob) Parks, John (Kelly) Bandi, IV and Howard Bandi; grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Kevin, Michelle Serres; Kelly and Scott Putnam; John V, Joey and Katie Bandi; six great-grandchildren and special cousin, Marilon Schuring. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Lineberger; grandson, Bradley Serres and cousin, Bob Dietsch.
The family will receive guests from 2-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2015. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
