Phyllis Bogard Dickey
October 31, 1924 – December 24, 2013
It's with the greatest sadness we say goodbye to our wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born to Orlo and Ethel Bogard in Toledo, she was their only child. Phyllis was a 6 month resident at Kingston Assisted Living. She suffered greatly and although we'll miss her terribly we have the comfort of knowing her suffering is over and she's with our Lord. Phyllis was employed by the Toledo Hospital as a Unit Clerk for 18 years and everyone there loved her great sense of humor and kind and caring ways. Some may remember her for always having pickles in the frig at work. She loved pickles right up to her dying moment.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Sandra Dickey Weber; son Dennis Dickey; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial Services will be held for Phyllis at a later date. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.
A special thank you to Joyce Morin for her kind and unselfish devotion to our mom and to Dr. Donald Vogel for never letting her down. Thank you also to Cherie, Karen and Ahren "#1".
