Phyllis C. Rozek

Phyllis C. Rozek, age 89, of Toledo, passed away on April 11, 2014 at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born on December 2, 1924 to Max and Mary (Czaja) Nowicki. Phyllis worked for a number of years at St. Regis Paper Co. before they closed their facility. She was a big baseball fan, especially the Atlanta Braves. Phyllis enjoyed the camaraderie that she shared with her friends and fellow residents at The Oblates Residences.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jacqueline (Fred) Moffett of Orange, CA; granddaughter, Lisa (Todd) Rosen; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Andrea Rosen; sister-in-law, Virginia Nowicki; numerous nieces; nephews and their children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

The family will receive guests on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at The Oblate Residences, 1225 Flaire, Toledo, with a Memorial Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
