Phillip A. Hoedt, age 66, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in his home. He was born November 9, 1946 in Toledo to Arthur and Loretta Hoedt. Phillip served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. Phillip was employed by GM Powertrain for over 30 years, retiring November 2011.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Ryan Hoedt; brother, Wayne Hoedt and former wife, Marilyn Kalinowski. In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by his son, Jason Hoedt.
There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or the A.S.P.C.A. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 419-381-1900.
