Philip J. "Phil" Palmer, age 79, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at home. He was born on July 11, 1941 to Paul and Alberta (Sutton) Palmer in Wheeling, West Virginia. Phil graduated from Warwood High School in West Virginia. He then went on to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Science from West Liberty University. Phil was an avid photographer, loved the outdoors, especially Wildwood Metropark, often gathering with friends and their dogs for walks. He was a car enthusiast and liked watching racing. Phil had a large collection of model planes and cars. He was also the President of International Plastic Modelers Society, local Toledo chapter, for many years. Phil's humor, spirit, and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Timothy (Lauren Nagel) Palmer and Kristen Palmer; former spouse and friend, Karen Palmer; close friend, Bob Costanzo; and many other dear friends.

There will be no visitation or services at this time for Phil. Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, Toledo (419-392-9500) assisted the family with professional services.
