Philip J. Morana, 76, went peacefully to be with his Lord on December 22, 2013. He was born on December 17, 1937 to the late Rose and Pasquale Morana in Buffalo, New York.
Philip retired from General Motors after 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Cold War. Philip was a member of the American Legion and several bowling leagues around Toledo. He enjoyed collecting vintage cars; his favorite was his 1972 T-Top Corvette. Philip also liked watching Nascar races. Most important to him though, was his family.
In addition to his parents, Philip was preceded in death by his wife, Donna and sister, Rose. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Antoinette "Toni"; fiancé, Connie Giauque; sisters, Antoinette and Joanne and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Holland Free Methodist Church, 6605 Angola Rd., Holland. Burial at Highland Memory Gardens.
