Philip M. Blom Sr.

Philip M. Blom Sr., age 77, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away June 16, 2024, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Philip was born October 25, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Leo and Ernestine (Chudzinski) Blom Sr.

Philip was a lifelong North Toledo/Point Place resident. He graduated from Woodward High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served.

Philip was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, especially walleye and perch, and hunting. He was known for making some delicious Mac and Cheese. Philip was a very simple and humble man. The memories that were made will forever be remembered.

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his sons, Philip M. Blom Jr. and Michael C. (Brandy) Blom; granddaughter, Clarissa B. Blom; sisters, Nancy Pheils and Barbara Jackson; brother, Chris (Christine) Blom; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leo P. Blom Jr.

At this time, there will be no services held. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
