Peter P. Uhler

Peter P. Uhler, age 84 of Toledo passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2003 in Lake Park Nursing Home. He was born June 29, 1919 in Homestead PA. Peter was a music teacher with the Toledo Public Schools for 25 years and also a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. During his time in the service Peter was Assistant to the Chaplain using his musical talents to entertain the troops.

In addition to his parents, Peter was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Myrtle (Crawford) Uhler; stepson, Phillip Stiefel; brother, Louis Uhler of FL. and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Friday from 2-4 and 6-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-0300). Funeral Services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
