Peggy Snyder

Peggy Snyder, age 60, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 31, 2008 in her home. She was born on August 20, 1947 to Melvin E and L. Francis (Wilkerson) Shoopman in Liberty, Kentucky. Peggy loved being around people. She especially enjoyed working at church and serving and helping out. Peggy was very strong in her faith. She also liked traveling with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Gaye Shoopman and Ruth Taylor and her brother, Marvin Shoopman. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Marvin Snyder; daughter, Stacy; son, Bruce; siblings, Ernest (Evelyn) Shoopman, Elizabeth Wilson, Rose (Ronnie) Hunter, Wanda Taylor, Faye Hogue and Sylvia Shoopman; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300).
