Peggy A. Harmon, age 73, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on November 5, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 13, 1949, in Sylvania, Ohio, to the late Charles and Ines (Glick) Marshall.
Peggy graduated from Sylvania High School. She had worked in the bakery department at Meijer for many years. Following Meijer, she was part of the Foster Grandparents organization for 19 years, which she volunteered at Garfield and Byrnedale Elementary through the organization. She took pride in what she did and loved the time spent with the children. Peggy loved nature and wildlife; she enjoyed taking trips with her husband to Maumee Bay Park, where she enjoyed seeing the deer. Most of all, Peggy loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Her love, smile, and compassion will forever be missed. It's not goodbye, it's see you later…
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband, Thomas Harmon, whom she married on February 14, 1990; three children, Rex (Tanya) Elkins, Russell (Darci) Elkins and David Elkins; nineteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and two brothers, Charles Marshall Jr. and David Marshall Sr.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Miller and Jeanette Marshall.
