Pauline Shea

Pauline V. Shea, age 68, of Sylvania, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2006 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 13, 1937 in Suffolk, England. Pauline worked at the Toledo Hospital for 31 years before retiring. She had a strong passion for Elvis Presley and Princess Diana. Pauline collected a variety of owls and enjoyed knitting, always making baby blankets for the new arrivals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ann (Simons) Hines and her brother Cyril Hines. Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Charles Shea, Sr; children: Ann Smith, Victoria (Stacey) Wilczynski and Charles (Jamie) Shea, Jr.,of Jasper, MI; grandchildren: Melissa (Paul), Christopher (Rachelle), Andrea, Nicholas, Marcie, Matthew and Rebecca; great-grandchildren: Chelsey, Marissa, Dominic, Klarissa, Haidan and Jordan.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300) from 2 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Sylvania.
