Paulette "Sunday" Deiley, age 81, of Luna Pier, Michigan, passed away and was greeted by her loving husband, July 24, 2024, at Ebeid Hospice. She was born August 30, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Edward and Alice Zylka.
Paulette graduated from Woodward High School. She had previously worked for Sofo’s Italian Market, where she enjoyed seeing familiar faces and interacting with the customers.
A woman of faith, she attended Christ The King Catholic Church, in Toledo, for many years. Paulette loved fishing, crocheting, watching tennis, listening to Polka music and attending the local Polka festivals. She also loved keeping in touch with family and friends on Facebook, playing games on her phone, and reading books from author, Danielle Steele.
Though her time on Earth is through, she will live on in the hearts of those who cherished her dearly.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Nanette (Robert) McCloud and Denise (Duane) Lubinski; grandchildren, Justin, Kaylee, and Kendra; and siblings, Patricia Steinbart and Paul (Stephanie) Zylka.
Family and friends may visit at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Ln, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 9:30 am - 11:00 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am. Following Mass, Paulette will be laid to rest, next to Kenneth, at Calvary Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, Paulette was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth V. Deiley Jr.
