Paul Warner, age 89, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born on February 3, 1922 to Elmer and Florence Warner in Toledo. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a tool grinder and trouble shooter with Dana Corp for over 25 years before retiring. Paul had a life long interest in real estate. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his first wife, Virginia Warner, second wife, Hazel Warner and great-grandson, Jeff Fields. Paul is survived by his sons, David (Elisa), Dean (Judi) and Darrell (Mary Anne) Warner; daughter, Dawn (Wayne) DeVol; 17 grandchildren; a host of great and great-great grandchildren; step-children, Jim, Gary and Sharon; and best friend, Fred Krumm.
The family will receive guests on Monday from 3 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
