Paul Shoemaker, Iii

Paul Franklin Shoemaker, III, age 52, of Toledo, passed away Monday, July 17, 2007. He was born April 15, 1955 to Paul F. and Jean Shoemaker, Sr. in Toledo. Paul owned a landscaping company for several years. He enjoyed fishing, practicing the "catch and release" program and spending time with family and friends. He was also formerly a nurses aid with the Toledo Hospital and the former Parkview Hospital.

In addition to his parents, Paul was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Skali. He is survived by his wife, Melba J. (Crosby) Shoemaker; sister, Jeanine Marx; brother, John Shoemaker; stepchildren, Gerald (Bridget) Hodge and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Monday from 2-7:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
