Paul Sharp

Paul "Papa" Sharp, age 73, of Holland, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on December 30, 1932 to Coy and Myrtle Sharp in Knoxville, Tennessee. Papa worked as a skilled mechanic throughout his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan and often enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds outside of his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Papa is survived by his loving wife; Barb Sharp; daughters: Betty, Pat, Linda and Debbie; several step-children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters: Ann and Wanda (Charles) and brothers: Frank (Barbara) and Marvin (Nellie).

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) from 2 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
