Paul D. Schroyer

Paul D. Schroyer, age 66, of Toledo, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on March 13, 1955 to George and Marguerite Schroyer in Toledo, OH. Paul was a mechanic throughout his career. He owned and operated Schroyer Brothers alongside 3 of his brothers for many years before it became Paul Schroyer's Auto Service for over the last 40 years. He loved all racing, motorcycles and just the need for speed. Paul was dedicated, hardworking and always helping others when needed. His smile, spirit and caring nature will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Schroyer. Left to cherish Paul's memory are his devoted wife of 47 years, Vicky Schroyer; children, Paula (Todd) Magrum, Wendy (Randy) Delker, Miranda (J.R. Wcislek) Schroyer, Amber (Shayne) Shoched and Paul (Jessica) Schroyer, Jr.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Dale (Janice), Oakley, George "Buddy", Donnie (Emily), and Gary Schroyer; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 3 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, in remembrance of Paul's life, the family asks that any charitable donations can be made to the Hickman Cancer Center c/o Flower Hospital.
