Paul S. Riegel
June 9, 1918 — August 13, 2013
Paul S. Riegel, age 95, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country proudly in WWII receiving a Bronze Star. Paul was a longtime member of Shelton Park Church of God.
Paul is survived by his daughters, Lucy "Sue" George, Rita (James) Sullivan and Lorie (Mark) Hopkins; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; son, Martin and 3 brothers.
The family will receive guests on Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Scott Isham. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Shelton Park Church of God.
