Paul J. Ehret

Paul J. Ehret, a beloved father, husband, and friend, passed away on December 7, 2024, in Toledo, Ohio, at the age of 72. Born on June 29, 1952, in Toledo.

Paul is remembered for his unwavering love for his family, particularly his children Amanda, Jason, and Timothy, who were with him in his final moments, providing comfort and support. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends, his significant other as well as his special canine companions, Bandit and Layla.

He was also preceded in death by late wife, Diana (Joseph) Ehret, his sisters, Paulette and Barbara, and his parents, Paul and Lillian “Peggy” Ehret. Their memories carry on through the stories they shared and the legacy of love they imparted.

An avid sports enthusiast, Paul had a particular passion for University of Michigan Football and the Buffalo Bills, which he enjoyed following closely. In his downtime, he found joy in working in his yard and on his pool. He loved driving around town, in his beloved Jeep Wrangler, with the top down.

His memorial gathering will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Toledo, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to come together to celebrate his life and share their fondest memories of him.
