Paul W. Carroll

Paul W. Carroll, age 69, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Toledo Hospital with loving family by his side. He was born on March 8, 1952 to Calvin and Virginia (Leach) Carroll in Toledo. Paul worked as a mechanic throughout his career until retiring. He enjoyed bowling, camping, playing horseshoes and woodworking. Paul was an avid golfer and liked playing cards aka cheating. In his younger years he drag raced in Kentucky for many years. Paul loved spending time with his family, especially all of his grandchildren. His smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Carroll. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Carroll; sons, Bill (Andy) Nye, Chad (Tammy) Carroll, Craig (Stacy) Carroll and Mark (Michelle) Carroll; grandchildren, A.J., Emily (John), Celleste (Ernie), Dylan (Natasha), Keri (Antonio), Austin, Tyrus, Hayden, Houston, Avery, and Blake; great-grandchildren, Avery, Ulrik, J.J., Katalina, Amaya, Amari, and Korra; brother, Wayne (Tina) Carroll; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
