Paul D. Anderson, age 74, of Toledo, Ohio passed away in his home on February 14, 2024. He was born on August 23, 1949 to the late Raymond and Ruth (Quirie) Anderson in Toledo. After graduating from high school, Paul proudly joined the U.S. Army, serving three tours during the Vietnam War. After being discharged Paul took up truck driving until he retired. He had a passion for motorcycles and he enjoyed fixing them as much as he did riding them. He was a member of the Vietnam Veteran Motorcycle Club, acting as the president for many years. Paul also loved animals, and his home was never without cat or a dog. He was a huge NASCAR fan who loved jelly beans. Most recently, Paul took an interest in playing the guitar. He loved to joke around, and the laughter that he was known to provide will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Anderson and sister, Karen O'Shea. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Sally (Wagner) Anderson; sons, Paul "Doug," Steven (Stephanie), and Jeff; step-children, Sarah (Joshua) Kesterson and Joshua Guilda; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother, Robert Anderson, and long time best friends, John Shepler, Robert Mockingstern, and Ray Jones.
A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held at a later date.
